US Assistant Secretary of State Lu, PM Deuba hold talks

KATHMANDU: US Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asian Affairs Donald Lu, who arrived in Kathmandu on Thursday, has held talks with Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba on Friday afternoon.
Assistant Secretary Lu called on PM Deuba at the Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar, Kathmandu.
PM Deuba took to Twitter today to inform about his meeting with Lu. He shared that they exchanged views on friendly and cooperative Nepal-USA relations.

Earlier Lu called on Foreign Minister Dr Narayan Khadka at the latter’s office.
Lu previously visited Nepal last November before the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) Nepal Compact was endorsed by Nepal’s House of Representatives.
This is his second visit in the last one year.
